Joe's going to be OK. Some authors have dosed dogs at 10 mg/lb of fexofenadine (Allegra) which would be equivalent to 280 mg for Joe. It appears that adverse effects are uncommon in animal patients. Sedation, central nervous system depression and gastrointestinal effects are possible. Please respond with further questions or concerns if you wish.
