I have a Platy who was perfectly active and normal this

Customer Question

Hi! I have a Platy who was perfectly active and normal this morning but when I got home this evening he was belly up on the bottom of the tank but still breathing. I took him out of the tank and now have him isolated but he is still belly up and laying on the bottom of the new tank that I have him isolated in. My other Platy and Tetra's are just fine. Is he dying? And is there anything I can do for him?
JA: I'm sorry to hear that. Could be a lot of things that cause lethargy. The Veterinarian will know how to help the platy. Is there anything else important you think the Veterinarian should know about the platy?
Customer: I just bought him 2 days ago but that's about it

My name is ***** ***** I have been a Vet tech and a fish keeper for over 30+ years

Can you tell me how big the tank is?

How many fish in the tank?

Is the fish bloated?

Have you checked the Ammonia, Nitrites, Nitrates and PH?

Type of test kit used?
