Customer Question

I cycled a 55 gallon aquarium and now my water is great all tested good. My problem is my baby was in there with high ammonia ,then really high nitrite, and has red streaks like from septicemia. I know I caused this but need help fast and willing to do anything to help him come through this need advice. Was giving antibiotic food but had to stop as it was causing tank not to cycle and keeping nitrite high.

Hello and welcome. I apologize that no one responded to you sooner. Different experts come online at various times. I just logged on and saw your question. My name is ***** ***** I'm a biologist with a special interest in fish. I'm sorry to hear of this problem. Some additional information will be helpful.Exactly what numbers in parts per million (ppm) are you now getting for ammonia and nitrites? For how many days has the water been improved? Are any of the red streaks starting to turn black? If you are asked to rate my service, please don't do that yet because we are just beginning. Thank you
