Hello and welcome. My name is ***** ***** I'm a biologist with a special interest in holistic care. I have used it along with conventional medicine for my own animals for over 20 years. This method of medical care is called integrative medicine.

The arsenicum album will not hurt the puppy. However, your puppy may be in danger, and I cannot in good conscience, fail to recommend a vet. Whenever a puppy this young stops eating and drinking, it is a dangerous situation. Add in diarrhea and vomiting, and the danger is doubled. They can easily become dehydrated and hypoglycemic. These are both life-threatening conditions that require treatment by a vet..With this combination of symptoms, I recommend that you take her to an emergency clinic tonight. If you only use holistic vets, then see if yours will see emergencies. Some of them do.

If you absolutely cannot do that, it would be a good idea to get some Pedialyte - made for human infants and available in pharmacies and discount stores. Give your puppy a syringe of it. Wait about 10 minutes, then give another one. Repeat again in another 10 minutes. After that, give him some once an hour. A little pancake syrup on his tongue once per hour will help if he's a bit hypoglycemic. These steps will help him until you can get him to a vet in the morning. But again, the best choice is to see a vet tonight. If your puppy is of a toy or small breed, the situation is most critical. A young puppy of a tiny breed can die in a few hours from dehydration and/or hypoglycemia. So, yes, you can go ahead and give the arsenicum album, but i would also take other steps.
