Hello,

I am Joan and answered the question about The Joey and hand rearing. What you are describing could be illness or stress related and the cause for her not nursing the Joey. The Leg is very suspicious and can indicate a Calcium deficiency with can happen when giving birth and nursing a Joey. I have to be honest and suggest the Female needs to see a an Exotic or Glider Vet to be checked out. It is not uncommon for gliders to have calcium deficiencies and they do stress easily. This is some information on calcium deficiency in Sugar gliders: http://azeah.com/sugar-gliders/calcium-deficiency This is very common in these animals. I will give you a link for Sugar Glider Vets: http://aemv.org/index.php/find-an-aemv-vet

I hope you have her seen as soon as possible to get her on the road to recoverey.
