It would be possible to spread pink eye this way, if the cow has an infectious form of pink eye, and if you didn't wash your hands after handling the cow, and then put your finger in the eye area. Pink eye isn't a medical term, but just a generic term used whenever the eyes are red/bloodshot. Pink eye can be caused by bacteria, viruses, chemical sensitivities, and allergies.
