my cat is not going to the bathroom, he''s not eating, is acting sluggish. What can I do
If he is not urinating he may have a urinary blockage which is a medical emergency. An overly full bladder can also block stool passage.
You can read about a blockage here
If he is urinating OK and not passing stool he may have swallowed a non food item (string, wire etc), become constipated, or be having a problem called megacolon which you can read about here
As your home care has not helped I'd get him in to see a vet. An x-ray might tell you a lot or some blood work might too.
Hope this helps you!
