what is the best wormer to use for a foal? Our foal is 3 months old.

Foals need a special de-worming schedule. Of most concern: DO NOT use Quest wormer on foals - the toxic dose is much too close to the safe dose. If the dose marker on the syringe slips as you give the foal the wormer and you accidentally give the adult sized dose it can be SERIOUS and even fatal for your foal! This happened to a friend's foal and they almost lost her - she was very sick for several weeks.

The most commonly recommended de-wormer products for foals under 6 months of age are Pyrantel (Strongid) or Fenbendazole (Panacur).
