can the male grand son of a dog breed to a female daughter of the same dog when the fathers of all dogs are different?

This can be done if the dogs are all health screened and clear of problems and are of good breed type quality. This is called line breeding and is a way to set genetic characteristics in the pups that will be very similar to the adults.
Problem is if the dogs being linebred on (the mother and grandmother and her ancestors) have some seriously bad qualities hiding in recessive genes there is strong likelihood of those showing up in the pups as the chances for the genes to come to the pups from both sides of their pedigree is higher than normal.
