I am curious if my bear die just was a bit overheated today.

Customer Question

I am curious if my bear die just was a bit overheated today. He is not gaping but his beard turned black and the last 2 inches of his tail turned black as well. When I took him out of the cage he seemed very agitated as well.
JA: I'm sorry to hear that. What is the bear's name and age?
Customer: Beardie
JA: How old is Beardie?
Customer: 2 years
JA: Is there anything else the Veterinarian should be aware of about Beardie?
Customer: He's shedding right now, has been active and acting normal before this

I am sorry to see that you have not heard back from us before now. Can you give me an update on how Beardie is doing?

Customer: replied 1 month ago.
He is ok but not very lively. He had come out of hibernation a month or so ago.... very hungry, active, etc. now it is like he is back in hibernation again!
