Customer Question

I have a 1 week old bearded dragon.
Ever since its hatched it's been running around in circles and its head has been leaning towards one side. Whenever he tries to walk he can never walk straight and isnt interested in food.

Hi Jade, thanks for your question.

In such a young beardie, we must always be concerned about parasites, husbandry faults, infectious disease, etc.

Because this little one is so very young, it will be imperative to have him seen by a veterinarian promptly to give him the best chance at survival. The vet will almost certainly want to perform a fecal analysis to ensure there are no parasites, a blood sample etc.

If you do not already have a place lined out to take him to, I would recommend this location. They are in Victoria:
