I would suggest a bulb that serves a dual purpose. I would use a Mercury Vapor bulb. It supplies heat as well as UVB which is necessary for metabolisim of calcium. It would be the best heat source and can be located on the warm end of the enclosure.

A 2.0 does not supply enough UVB and it needs to be changed every 6 months. An MVB will supply the heat and the sufficient amount of UVB to keep the lizard healthy. Almost all pet supplies that carry reptile lights have MVB's in stock and you can find them online as well. They also last a lot longer you can use a 125 self balasted in a dome light. Joan
