I need to know what to do he ate some of my wooden paint brushes and the bristles of another paintbrush
Dog Specialist: Richard Rawling,
 replied 4 months ago

Most artist paints should be quite safe unless ingested in very large quantities. However paints containing lead can be very hazardous and can cause poisoning. The wooden paintbrushes may cause trauma to his mouth or throat if they have splintered. The bristles from the brushes are unlikely to cause a significant problem and should be passed in the feces. If he has ingested a large number of the brushes, this may result in vomiting.

Has he shown any signs of vomiting? How long ago did he get into the paint supplies?
