Please don't be alarmed. 200 mg ibuprofen (Advil)/108 lbs = 1.85 mg/lb. While ibuprofen overdose can cause gastrointestinal, renal, and central nervous system effects it takes doses of 11 mg/lb (25 mg/kg) or more to lead to gastrointestinal problems and ulceration, manifested as vomiting, diarrhea, or abdominal pain. Shelby will remain safe. There's no need to induce emesis or treat in any manner. Please respond with further questions or concerns.
