Hi there,

Thank you for your question. Did Pierre just eat this now? How many ounces would you say the brownie would have been? Was this dark chocolate?

I will wait to hear from you.

Are you still there?

Hi again,

Thanks for that. This is definitely a real concern and as Pierre is such a small dog at only 15lbs, there is every chance you could see severe symptoms of chocolate toxicity here if you do nothing. As such - the best next step is to get Pierre seen by your local ER vet where they can give apomorphine to make him vomit. If you can't get him see straight away, then the safest bet would be to induce vomiting from home.

There are several ways to induce vomiting, however 3% hydrogen peroxide is the most effective. As it has been less than half an hour - he will likely vomit this up pretty easily. You can read about how to induce vomiting in dogs online here:

http://www.petplace.com/dogs/how-to-induce-vomiting-emesis-in-dogs/page1.aspx

I hope all of the above makes sense? If you have more questions or if I can help in any other way, please do not hesitate to ask!
