Hello, I'm Dr. Bruce. I have over 17 years of experience as a veterinarian and I'd like to help. Please give me a moment to review your concerns.

Ask Your Own Dog Question

Thank you for your question. Can you post a picture here of what you're seeing with these stools? Are they otherwise normal?

Ask Your Own Dog Question

Very good job on the picture. The little white specs that I can see seem to be very spread out through that sample (which it looks to be quite loose). The white dots could be things that are in his food / treats that are just passing through the intestinal tract. Some diets have various things in them that just pass through and get mixed in the stool. They don't look like tapeworm segments and they aren't other intestinal parasites.

Awesome. That makes us feel a lot better. We bought him off a place online and was a little skeptical lol. Thank you so much!

His belly being fat, is that just from eating?
Customer reply replied 7 months ago
He is 8 weeks old

Honestly, the belling being fat could be from eating well and it could still be due to intestinal parasites. He has been dewormed by your vet and they will be checking stool samples to make sure all intestinal parasites have been taken care of. I bet he's a ball of energy here at 8 weeks old!

Lol he is a little bit :) I think he’s still adjusting to us. Okay thank you so much. We will just keep taking him in and letting them check. Thank you!! :)

No problem. I hope all goes well for this little one. Give him a little belly rub for me since I can't!
