In general, ingesting more than 0.3 grapes per pound of body weight (8 grapes for Skye) can be worrisome for kidney damage as evidenced by vomiting, anorexia, lethargy, diarrhea, abdominal pain, and weakness seen 12-24 hours post-ingestion. 4-5 grapes won't do the trick and grape toxicity is idiosyncratic (peculiar) in any event; in other words most dogs can ingest grapes to their heart's content without harm. There's no need to induce emesis or treat in any manner. Please respond with further questions or concerns.
