I think it ate a big pack of handwarmers amd im trying to figurr out how can i know for sure

Veterinarian's Assistant: I'll do all I can to help. The Expert will know if the dog will be able to digest that. What is the dog's name and age?

Veterinarian's Assistant: Is there anything else the Veterinarian should be aware of about Luke?

No he is just a regular pup. Im just trying to figure out how to tell if he ate the hand warmer packet or not.

The best way to know if he ate them is with an x-ray. There is some metal in those, so they will show up nicely on x-ray.

If they are in the stomach, I'll induce vomiting and get them up. If they are not in the stomach, then no worries.

The biggest side effects we see from these are GI upset- vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain, cramping. In more serious cases we can see GI bleeding. Most dogs just chew into them and ingest some of the fluid. Those guys will usually recover without any treatment. When whole warmers are ingested, then I like to get them up by inducing vomiting.
