Veterinarian's Assistant: I'll do all I can to help. Have you looked to see if there is a wound on their foot?

I’ve had a look it just seems very wobbly on his legs like you doesn’t have the strength anymore

I am sorry to hear you are worried about Jr. How long has he been like this?

Does this wobbliness/weakness seem to be in all four legs, or just his back legs?

Is it all four legs?

To be honest I know he’s old if I bring him to the vet will they put him asleep
Customer reply replied 7 months ago
It on all 4 legs
Dog Specialist: Rebecca, Dog Veterinarian replied 7 months ago

That is not true at all! We are there to try to help. I only would bring up euthanasia if he were not eating, losing weight, obviously suffering.

If it is all 4 legs, it may be a problem in his spinal cord such as a slipped disc or pinched nerve in his neck. Not walking is also a sign of pain in dogs.

Dog Specialist: Rebecca, Dog Veterinarian replied 7 months ago

He may need prescription medication, if this is a problem in his spine. Having him checked out by a veterinarian and getting appropriate medication would be best.

He keeps falling ove
Dog Specialist: Rebecca, Dog Veterinarian replied 7 months ago

The only over the counter medications that might help would be paracetamol or baby aspirin, but I would not recommend trying this until he is examined.
