I am sorry to hear this happened to your dog.

If your dog just at the raisinettes, I would induce vomiting right away. Raisins are very toxic and can result in kidney failure. Chocolate can cause heart issues. You can induce vomiting by giving over the counter 3% hydrogen peroxide: 1 teaspoon for every 10 pounds of body weight. If there is no vomiting in 10 minutes, give another dose. If there is no vomiting after another 10 minutes, you should head to an emergency vet to have them induce vomiting. As little as one raisin eaten can induce acute kidney failure, so you want to make sure your dog vomits.

Ok thank you. I was having trouble entering text. My dogs Texan 9yrs 8 lbs and Foxy 9yrs and 4 lbs ate a box of raisonetts. I can see that there are 2 piles of vomit from them on the floor.
Dog Specialist: Dr. G., Veterinarian replied 6 months ago

Are there raisins in the piles? How long ago did they eat the raisinettes?

Ask Your Own Dog Question
Customer reply replied 6 months ago
There's definitely chunks and I see some raisins but not enough to count for the whole box
Dog Specialist: Dr. G., Veterinarian replied 6 months ago

If there are still raisins missing, I would try to induce vomiting again. If you don't find more raisins in any new vomit, I recommend taking them to a vet to get them on IV fluids as a precaution. Dogs are really sensitive to raisins and they could have pretty bad effects from even just one that makes it into the intestinal tract.
