Thankfully, none of the toothpastes are toxic to dogs and so Moose will remain unaffected. There's no need to induce emesis or treat in any manner. Even if the toothpaste contained xylitol, there wouldn't be enough of that sugar alcohol to intoxicate such a big dog. Please respond with further questions or concerns.

Ok so none of the sensodyne toothpastes are toxic to dogs and since none of the tooth paste contained a high amount xylitol he will be ok? What about fluoride the toothpaste has that will that effect him. And what should I look for in the event he gets sick
Dog Specialist: Dr. Michael Salkin, Veterinarian replied 7 months ago

Correct. Don't give fluoride a second thought. There isn't nearly enough in a dab of toothpaste to harm a dog. As with ingesting anything unusual transient gastrointestinal distress in the form of inappetence, vomiting and/or diarrhea can arise but Moose wasn't intoxicated. Please continue our conversation if you wish.
