Hello, this is Dr. Schmidt. To help with the congestion, you can give Benadryl (1mg/lb) every 12 hours. You can also give Mucinex (20 mg/lb) every 12 hours. You can buy both of these medications over the counter. Let me know if you have any follow up questions.

Ok! He is on an antibiotic from the vet, can he have Benadryl or Mucinex while taking that?
