I'm sorry to hear of this with Celie. The NexGard (afoxolaner) may be responsible for Celie's behavior. In an order of decreasing frequency, vomiting, dry flaky skin, diarrhea, lethargy, and anorexia were noted as adverse reactions to this product. Celie may be experiencing gastrointestinal distress at this time.

Previcox can also cause GI distress but I would have expected Celie to be symptomatic while being administered that drug. The adverse effects of NexGard are expected to abate within 72 hours. There's no specific antidote, however.

An elevated thyroid is likely to be artifactual - not real. Hyperthyroid dogs are rare and when seen are eating you out of house and home, agitated and over-active, and have lost weight in spite of their increased hunger. Please respond with further questions or concerns if you wish.
