Customer Question

Dixie Darling had puppies on April 26. They're all healthy. Beginning yesterday, she keeps kicking her anus. Do I need to treat her somehow?
JA: I'll do all I can to help. What is the matter with the dog?
Customer: I'm Jen
JA: Where does the dog seem to hurt?
Customer: She doesn't act hurt. She just keeps repeating the lucking
JA: OK. No obvious pain. What is the dog's name?
Customer: Dixie Darking. She's a full bred Pudelpointer.
JA: Is there anything else the Veterinarian should be aware of about Dixie?
Customer: Dixie Darling

Hello and thank you for your question. I am a Veterinary Nurse with over 15 years experience and I have assisted in the care of many pets with this particular medical concern. It would be my pleasure to assist you today. Is it possible for me to obtain some additional information from you about your companion?

1) Is she doing any scooting behavior?
2) Is she regularly groomed? If so, when was her last groom?
3) Do you see any abnormalities with her anus? Red? Any discharge?
