Hello and thank you for your question. I am a Veterinary Nurse with over 15 years experience and I have assisted in the care of many pets with this particular medical concern. It would be my pleasure to assist you today. There is a very thorough video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a_zVySlodLA on how to clean and medicate. The flush will be used first and liberally to clean the debris from the ear canals. Once the canals are cleaned and no longer discharging any material, you can dry the visible ear and ear canal with cotton pads or a cloth and then medicate each ear with the ointment and massage. This is usually completed once daily for 7-10 days.
