We have a Dalmatian in labor. She had one pup but not sure

Customer Question

Hi. So we have a Dalmatian in labor. She had one pup but not sure as to when as she was unattended. At least around 7. Nothing since. She is panting but can't really feel contractions. Definitely uncomfortable.
JA: I'm sorry to hear that. What is the Dalmatian's name and age?
Customer: Josie. I am babysitting. They have had her at least 3 years. The first pup did not live. When I got here at 7 the pup was already cleaned and cold.
JA: Is there anything else the Veterinarian should be aware of about Josie?
Customer: No.

Hi, JACustomer.

What time is it where you are located?

Was the puppy still alive?

Is this her first litter? Did she deliver all naturally if she had previous litters?

Were x-rays done to determine puppy count before labor?

Was the male a dalmatian?
