Customer Question

My morkie ate a foam ear plug
JA: I'm sorry to hear that. The Veterinarian will know if the dog will be able to digest that. What is the dog's name and age?
Customer: Zoey is 11 months old
JA: Is there anything else the Veterinarian should be aware of about Zoey?
Customer: No

A dog the size of a Morkie should be able to pass that foam ear plug unaided. Adding a teaspoon of psyllium seed (Metamucil) to each wet food meal for the next 3 meals should help pass it along. Although unlikely, obstruction by such an object is evidenced by persistent vomiting and anorexia - symptoms that would prompt X-raying of Zoey's gastrointestinal tract.
