Customer Question

Pink, may e pale pink. His breathing seems normal but he has bouts of extreme panting. When i go near him he seems to start to panic so im nervous to inspect him too closely, and he just growls at me constantly. We took him to the vet when this first started and he said no injury, and changed his meds to enrofloxacin, and vetmedin in addition to what he was taking, furesomide. At the vet he had no tenderness. He will eat but only if we bribe hime with his favorite, boiled chicken, then he barely eats any. It isnt his nature at all to have eaten something non food. Im afraid he may simply be winding down to die.

Good morning, Jillie. Thanks for your question. Can you tell me more about his past history? It sounds like has cardiac disease. When was this diagnosed? How old is he and what breed? Did he exhibit the extreme panting when your vet examined him? The growling, did he also do this at the vet? How long has this been going on?
