Customer Question

My name is ***** ***** and I have a sick dog. He's 6 yrs old, and yesterday, he started vomiting clear mucus. A lot! All day and last nite. He didn't eat his dinner and no treats. I woke up at 5 am and he's having trouble breathing and his nose is dripping. He's had no water either. His mouth is opening and closing and he's breathing hard.
JA: Thanks. Can you give me any more details about your issue?
Customer: He's a mix, small, Chiwahwah & Pom/Poodle... weighs around 7 1/2 lbs. This came on suddenly. He's not moving and his eyes look funny.
JA: OK got it. Last thing — Dog Specialists generally expect a deposit of about $19 to help with your type of question (you only pay if satisfied). Now I'm going to take you to a page to place a secure deposit with JustAnswer. Don't worry, this chat is saved. After that, we will finish helping you.

Hello & welcome, I am Dr. B, a licensed veterinarian and I would like to help you with your wee one today.

Are his gums nice and pink (not white/pale)? Moist or sticky?

If you press on his belly, does he have any tensing, tenderness, discomfort, or pain?

Could he have eaten anything he should not have (ie bones, toys, plants, chemicals, human meds, etc)?

Can you take a breathing rate for me (just count his breaths for 10 seconds + multiply by 6)?
