Customer Question

I have a14 year old dog that won't get up. He has neurological issues and his back end is weak his legs cross at times and his foot drags. About 2 weeks ago he wouldn't get up at all and was treated with prednisone. He got better where he could walk around but relapsed 2 days ago and can't get up

Hi Mimi. I'm so sorry to hear that George is not well. Can you answer some additional questions for me?

1) Has George had any xrays of his spine and rear limbs performed?

2) If so, was any diagnosis made at that time?

3) Is he on any medications currently? Prednisone? NSAIDs? Anything for pain?

4) How large is George?

5) Is George still eating and drinking?

I'll be back with you shortly after your reply comes through.
