I'm sorry that your question wasn't answered in a timely manner. Please discuss the possibility of lymphedema with Lexi's vet. This describes a swelling of protein-rich interstitial fluid caused by impaired lymphatic function. The localized-to-a-limb form of lymphedema has been recognized in Labs and identifying the underlying disorder - often a malignancy - can be a challenge. It sounds as if Lexi has been worked-up nicely and advanced radiologic methods may now be necessary - lymphoscintigraphy or lymphangiography - and even CT (computed tomography).

Please respond with further questions or concerns if you wish.
