Hello & welcome, I am Dr. B, a licensed veterinarian & I would like to help you with your wee one today.

Based on your history, Tucker's signs are most suggestive of gingivitis. This can be related to dental issues and tarter, but can also be due to bacterial infection or irritation of the gums due to ingestion of non-pet friendly plants, chemicals, or even hard food. In this case, I would suggest rinsing his mouth with cool water or offering some milk if there is any chance he has ingested something irritating to his mouth/gums. Otherwise, you try him with a dental supportive oral rinse containing chlorohexidine (which are OTC at vets, some pet stores, and even Amazon) to help with general gingivitis. Otherwise, we'd need to consider having a check to make sure there are no new dental issues (ie rotten or damaged teeth) and potentially have his vet treat for any bacterial infections if found.

I hope this information is helpful.

If you need any additional information, do not hesitate to ask!

All the best,

Dr. B.
