Customer Question

My mini schnauzer's eyes are a bit cloudy but a greenish, blue color. He appears partially blind, he can't see up close, but appears to see at a small distance, or maybe shadows. Any idea why he would go blind, he is only 9 yrs old?

Can you tell me, please, if your miniature Schnauzer's intraocular pressure was measured with a tonometer when examined by his vet? Are you referring to clouding and a greenish, blue color of his cornea - the clear window of the eye? If so, it would represent stretching and inflammation of his cornea secondary to the increased intraocular pressure of glaucoma and glaucoma will blind my patient.
