My dog is experiencing blood in s stool. He has had some

Customer Question

Hi - My dog is experiencing blood in his stool. He has had some stress over the last few weeks. I was away and he was staying with one of my daughters. He is a rescue who was 90% blind when I got him. He has come along way with his surgery. I'm going away today and leaving him over night with my son. Should I consider canceling my outing ad stay home?

Hello & welcome, I am Dr. B, a licensed veterinarian and I would like to help you with your wee one today.
How long has he had blood in his stool? Where you away the whole time?
How much blood is he passing? A spoonful, more or less?
Has his stool been looser or harder then usual?
Any vomiting or appetite loss?
When was he last wormed?
How is he otherwise?
