My 12 yr old jack russel was diagnosed about 4 months ago

Customer Question

Hi. My 12 yr old jack russel was diagnosed about 4 months ago and we are having a terrible time getting her numbers in a healthy range. They just lowered her dose from 6U bid to 4 because we had an episode..her glucose went down to 24. Her front legs are shaking a little bit this morning and it has been 3 hours since she ate and had her insulin

I am sorry that you have been waiting for a response. I recently just logged onto the site and noted that your question hasn't yet been answered. I am a licensed veterinarian with over 25 years’ experience and would be happy work with you if you are still needing assistance.
Can you give me an update on how Skeeter is doing currently and if you were able to get a blood glucose reading on her?
