Hello. I am sorry to hear you are worried about your dogs. My name is ***** ***** I have been a veterinary nurse for 26 years. I would be happy to help. Thankfully these ant traps have a very low risk for toxicity and even a smaller dog would have to eat several of them for it to cause any serious complications. These can however cause some digestive upset including, vomiting diarrhea and or loss of appetite. If the traps were only chewed and not swallowed then who ever chewed it should be fine. If either develop any vomiting you can give Pepcid AC at a dose of 0,25mgs per pound of body weight every 12 hours and give a bland diet for a day or two. Bland diets consist of boiled chicken or hamburger, white rice, scrambled egg, cottage cheese. I hope this helps ease your mind. Please reply back if you have additional questions and I will be happy to continue. If you have no additional questions please take a few moments to provide a rating so I am compensated by justanswer for assisting you today.
