I'm sorry that your question wasn't answered in a timely manner. The photo of the left rear paw reveals a swollen phalanx suggestive of neoplasia (cancer). X-rays of that toe are indicated. The photo of the right rear paw reveals interdigital swelling suggestive of an abscess such as is seen with a penetrating foreign body such as a plant awn (foxtail) if you live west of the Mississippi. I can't rule out neoplasia from here in that area as well, however. That swelling should be lanced and explored.
