Customer Question

Hi, my puppy is wobbly/dizzy, lethargic, and his head seems to be shaking slightly. There is also a small area on his ribs that seems to itch/hurt him when it touch it, but nothing feels swollen and I can't see a bite mark or anything?

Aloha! You're speaking with Dr. Michael Salkin
I'm sorry that your question wasn't answered in a timely manner. Those are important symptoms but they're not pathognomonic (specifically indicative) of any one disorder. Seven may have been intoxicated by a prescription or recreational drug, envenomated by a flying insect, spider, or snake, be suffering from an infection involving his central nervous system, or suffering from a metabolic disease that's affecting his brain.
May I have an update on his condition, please? Do you have a veterinary ER available to you? Those symptoms are serious enough to seek urgent care.
