HI this is Dr J.Just got back to my computer. Give me a few minutes and I will have an answer for you.....
So, coleus is toxic to dogs and can cause vomiting, diarrhea, lack of appetite. In small dogs such as Josie it is best to have activated charcoal administered by a vet. If you are unable to do this, I would at least try to get some charcoal tablets from a pharmacy and give her a couple of them as this will help bind the toxin.
It can be dangerous for a small dog such as Josie because she can become dehydrated rapidly and develop metabolic problems from that.
Please let me know if you have any other questions.
Most sincerely,
DrJ
