My 4 year old English Bulldog just swallowed a wet paper towel. I am sure he swallowed it whole. Do I need to be concerned or just watch him?
Hello, and thanks for writing in.

Just to be sure -- it was a PAPER towel, and not a CLOTH towel?

Was it just wet with water, or some other liquid?

Yes, it was a paper towel wet with water.

Thanks for your reply.
A wet paper towel would be very unlikely to cause a problem. It will likely pass without any issues. Having said that, if you see any vomiting, lack of appetite, or acting painful over the next 1-2 days, it would be best to have your dog examined, but he will most likely be just fine!

I hope this helps.
