My dog (poodle) had an ear infection and I used genotic b-c. The infection is gone, but his ear/hair is a mess. How can I clean it off? I've tried baby shampoo and it didn't work. Thanks.

Hello and thank you for asking your question. My name isXXXXX will try to help.

I would use a de-greasing dish detergent like "dawn liquid."

You will probably have to wash the ear 2-3 times to remove the greasy residue.

After you wash it, I would put a few drops of isopropyl alcohol to evaporate any excess liquid so another infection does not result. Isopropyl alcohol is just over the counter first aid alcohol you can buy at any drug store or grocery stores.

If the hair is dry and tangled, after you de-grease it with dish soap, you can put a little human, or pet, hair conditioner on the hair and comb out to remove any tangles. Then rinse the conditioner out.

I hope this helps.
