Should, a dog eat "people food"?
Welcome! My name isXXXXX am a UC Davis graduate, and currently, a Medical Director of a veterinary hospital.

No, they really should not. Well, ideally, if a dog is doing fine on a premium dog food, the fewer things that go into their mouth, the better off.

The more different foods they eat, the more likely to cause digestive problems, run into a food allergy, or some other intolerance.

Now, that doesn't mean a dog can't have a carrot, apple pieces, so cooked white rice, low-fat cottage cheese, or boiled boneless skinless chicken, as a few examples.

But, ideally, its best to stay away from people foods.
