Is magnesium chloride harmful for dogs? I take it in liquid form because it is very good for humans.

Hi Jacustomer-im9yg2ar~

No, actually Magnesium Chloride is toxic to animals.

Magnesium Chloride is actually used in many 'ice melt' products and when a dog ingests it there is high probability that it will interfere with the way the electric currents run through the heart.

You can read more about it here: http://www.ehow.com/facts_6826933_magnesium-chloride-pets.html

I hope this helps.
