What breed of dog do you have?

 

The age is five years or months?

Shih-zu she is 5 yrs old. She seems to be fine. back to herself. It has happened twice in 2 wks. Its was random. It doesnt make any sense.

There is something called hydrocephalus which can alter the mind and cause a crying out, which you can read about here http://www.petplace.com/dogs/hydrocephalus-in-dogs/page1.aspx there is also syncope which is not a cause but a symptom of something else which causes a passing out / altered mental status/ crying out and you can read about that here http://www.petplace.com/dogs/syncope-in-dogs/page1.aspx .Since this has happened twice it would be a good idea to have the vet look the dog over and if at all possible video tape the incident so your vet can see it.
