A clicking noise when breathing is a sign of a respiratory infection of some type. It would be impossible to diagnose it based only on an online description. It could be a viral or bacterial infection, pneumonia, or the result of an irritant or foreign body in the lungs. As long as your dog is eating well and isn't lethargic, this isn't an emergency, but it would be best to make a vet appointment for tomorrow. your vet will need to examine your dog, listen to his lungs, and perhaps take an x-ray to reach a diagnosis. Then proper treatment can begin.
