Is hyaluronan (Trixsyn) worth the time and money for my dog

Resolved Question:

Is hyaluronan (Trixsyn) worth the time and money for my dog? He had a lower spine compression injury several years ago which effected movement in his right leg.We have been giving him this for three years but I don't feel it is doing any good.Any thing else to try?

If this is not working after three years then it may not be worth it. You may want to try a glucosamine in combination with chondroitin sulfate supplement. This seems to be more effective for some dogs.

I have read that gluco/chon has been shown to be ineffective

That is not true , while every dog is different we recommend it daily because it does work. The Adequan works much more quickly and is a monthly injection.
