Hi, thanks for your question. I know you may not want to hear this, but the only way that you can make an improvement in dealing with rotten teeth, and a possible abscess, is to have the affected teeth extracted. Antibiotics will seem to give a short term improvement, but when the antibiotics are stopped, the infection will come back worse than before, with possibly resistant bacteria, making it even harder to treat the problem. Once the rotten teeth are extracted, his quality of life will improve dramatically, and his overall health will be much better.
