I believe you are talking about eclampsia which is when a dog's calcium reserves are drained by the need to produce milk for the puppies. Symptoms would be shivering, panting and trembling and acting in a strange manner. Calcium supplements, Tums, cottage cheese or goat's milk may help, but it might not reverse the symptoms quickly enough.

This would be an emergency situation and she would need to be seen immediately by your vet. You can not treat this at home as she will likely need calcium via IV as well as supplementing her diet with calcium. I urge you to have her seen as soon as possible.
