How does Tramadol & Rimadyl interact with each other.? I have Large Shepherd and the VET has him on both of the for a sore muscle.

Tramadol and Rimadyl are frequently used together to treat painful conditions. Tramadol is a centrally acting (works in the brain) analgesic used for treating moderate to severe pain and is in the same family as codeine. Rimadyl is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory (NSAID) that acts to block the inflammatory cycle and thus decrease the pain caused by inflammation.
