How much Benadryl can you give a 4 lb. dog

Customer Question

How much Benadryl can you give a 4 lb. dog?

The dosage for Benadryl is 1-2 mg/lb every 6-8 hours. I would go with the 1 mg/lb and just as needed for allergic swelling/ itching I'm assuming.

You'll have to get the children's liquid benadryl to dose this little girl.

I hope that helps, let me know if you have any other questions.
